When Coalition for Family Harmony calls, we answer! 💪💙
Soroptimist Channel Islands proudly committed $1,000 to help furnish a new safe home for survivors of domestic violence.
We got the list, hit the stores, delivered, and set it all up—because that’s what we do!

The chefs! Kathy Gray, District 1 Director Carole Savala and President JuliAnn Laufer expressed our gratitude and appreciation to the men of Oxnard Fire Station #6 with a "reverse dinner" in early February.
"Thank you so much or bringing us lasagna, salad and the cookies this evening. It was delicious and we all really enjoyed it. Thank you!"
~ Kyle Vondrak / Fire Captain, E66B

Bold & Worthy Bags
Our Bold and Worthy Bags are slated for the newest residents at the Coalition for Family Harmony’s shelter. They have experienced domestic violence, are referred by law agencies and arrive with only the clothes they are wearing. The Bags are member-made and include tooth and hair brushes, lip gloss, lotion, socks, nail clippers, scented candles, pens and journals. As an on-going club project, the list is planned to expand as the need is crucial.
